The Rev. Peter A. Lane, Rector

Fr Peter Lane began his ministry with St. Alfred’s on March 5, 2018. He attended Virginia Theological Seminary, Alexandria, Va. and has been a priest for 22 years. He has extensive experience helping small congregations to grow and thrive.  Fr. Peter has served parishes in New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Washington, and now here in Florida. Fr. Peter has two grown children, Jacob & Sarah who live and work in New England, and a beloved labradoodle, Milo, who loves to greet visitors to the church office.

Fr Agostino Rivolta

Fr Agostino Rivolta is a retired priest from the Diocese of New Jersey. Fr. Agostino is a gifted teacher and leads a parish Bible study on Monday evenings (7:00 p.m.) and Thursday mornings (10:00 a.m.). Fr. Agostino also preaches and celebrates the Eucharist on a regular basis. He lives in Palm Harbor with his wife, Barbara, who is an artist, teacher, and member of the St. Alfred’s Flower Guild, and their dog, Dottie.

Kevin V. Johnson, Organist and Choirmaster, AAGO

Kevin Johnson came to St. Alfred’s as our first full-time musician on February 1, 2000. He has established a year-round music program that appeals to varying audiences in such annual events as Music of Broadway in May, Summer Coffee Concerts in July and August, Classics and Cheesecake in October, and the biennial Epiphany Madrigal Feast. 

Vestry

The Vestry of St. Alfred’s consists of nine church members elected by the congregation to serve in a leadership role with the Rector. Three members are elected each year for 3-year terms so that the Vestry maintains continuity. We meet monthly, typically on the fourth Tuesday evening at 7:00 p.m., in the Parish Center Conference Room, to conduct the business of the church.  All Vestry meetings are open to anyone who would like to attend.
