Construction Preparation News About Our Casavant Pipe Organ

Construction continues throughout the month of May in the church building from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in preparation for the delivery of our pipe organ. Thank you for understanding there will be disruption in the way things look throughout the process. At the request of Casavant, we have hired a group of professional piano movers to assist with the delivery on June 6th. (See below.)

Through Sunday, June 4th: Kevin and the Choir have moved to the opposite side of the church.

Tuesday, June 6th at @ 8:00 a.m.: Casavant Frères Opus 3951 Pipe Organ to be delivered! Mark your calendar, set your alarm and plan to be on hand as we celebrate this long-awaited historical day in the life of our parish. There will be a brief liturgy with prayers and hymns followed by coffee, doughnuts and croissants in Reister Hall. You are invited to watch and take photos as the new instrument is brought into the church.

Monday-Friday all month: Organ construction/installation work 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.  Saturday all month:  Organ construction/installation work 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Saturdays June 10th, 17th and 24th: Holy Eucharist, Rite I moves to the Music Room, where each person will have his/her very own individual upholstered chair and personal book rack!

Sundays June 11th, 18th and 25th: Holy Eucharist, Rite II, returns to our roots as we worship in the Temple! By the grace of God and Rabbi Berger and the members of Temple Ahavat Shalom, we will have a place to worship while our pipe organ is being installed.
