Griefshare
GriefShare is a 13-week grief support program designed to help those among us grieving the loss of a loved one to be able to journey from mourning to joy. We will be meeting on Friday mornings from 10:00 to 11:30, each in the Church Library. (One time $20 for the workbook/scholarships available). Fall Session runs 9/15/23 – 12/15/23.

Sunday Coffee Fellowship
The Coffee Hours following our Sunday services are an important weekly ministry that provide a time to greet visitors and newcomers, support the members of our parish, catch up with friends, and share news about our activities, ministries and events. Volunteers make coffee, put out an array of delicacies, and serve as hostesses. All are welcome to join us in fellowship and/or to serve.
Dementia Caregiver Support Group
Meetings are held every Friday from 1:30-2:30 pm starting on September 15th, in the parish office building (building D) of St. Alfred’s Episcopal Church, 1601 Curlew Road, Palm Harbor. 727-785-1601. For more information contact Michelle at St. Alfred’s ar@stalfreds.net

St. Alfred's Book Club
We are an informal group of men and women who enjoy reading and sharing ideas. We get together the 1st Wednesday at 10 a.m. from October through May, in the Church Library and via Zoom . Our gatherings are very social and informal. Books are selected by the members, who also often volunteer to lead the discussion. Watch for announcements in the service Bulletins and in our electronic newsletter, The Banner. No dues, no bylaws, just interesting conversation – and – we continue to learn from our reading and one another! Will resume October 2023.

Special Events
We offer a variety of special events throughout the year – from the “Blessing of the Animals” in early October, a community Thanksgiving worship service in November, Advent Lessons & Carols in December, to special dinners and fellowship gatherings throughout the year.

Fellowship Luncheon
Every other month, the third Wednesday a group from St. Alfred’s gathers for lunch at an area restaurant. This is a great opportunity for catching up with friends, making new friends, and perhaps discovering a new favorite restaurant.
