Forward Movement: A Publishing House of the Episcopal Church

Inspiring disciples and empowering evangelists around the globe every day, Forward Movement has been producing excellent, innovative resources to encourage spiritual growth in individuals and congregations for more than eighty years. Growing out of a determination of The Episcopal Church’s General Convention in 1934, Forward Movement brought new life to the church after a period of decline. Our “forward movement” was charged to “reinvigorate the life of the church” and since 1935 we have been offering discipleship and evangelism resources to encourage spiritual growth.

Short Animated Bible Videos

by the Bible Project

The “animated bible” project is an initiative that aims to bring the stories and teachings of the Bible to life through animation. It involves creating animated videos that retell biblical stories in a visually engaging and dynamic way, while staying true to the original message and themes. The project seeks to make the Bible more accessible and appealing to a wider audience, especially younger generations who may not be as familiar with its content. Through the use of animation, the project hopes to capture the attention and imagination of viewers, sparking interest in the Bible and its teachings.
